Course Module Description

This module aims to offer a holistic knowledge on the relation between sustainable engineering practices and environmental protection. The “Sustainable Engineering and Role of Women in STEM” module is designed to empower girls with comprehensive knowledge, awareness and confidence in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This module aims to give trainees introduce foundational concepts in sustainability to provide knowledge about existential risks for sustainability. Furthermore, the module’s content has the potential to provide trainees with the necessary knowledge, awareness, and self-confidence to challenge gender stereotypes, empowering them to pursue careers in STEM fields. This module assist the understanding of the crucial role of women as a social determinant, emphasizing its significance in sustaining the environment and recognizing its role as a driving force behind global environmental preservation initiatives.
